A few weeks ago, I uploaded a patchset of my changes to VSSMIgrate. Based on some feedback, I've opted to post my entire source base as a .zip file. Please know the source was compiled under VS2010, and be sure you're using the latest ssapi.dll. Thanks for the feedback some of you have left!!

Many of you have contacted me via email about my changes to VSSMigrate , some of which are fairly extensive. I've hopefully addressed many of the bigger issues related to deleted and renamed files, missing labeled files, and other errors/issues iwth VSSMigrate. This is by no means an "official" or "sanctioned" change set - its merely a set of changes that reflect my modifications to the application and logging configuration files, and Program.cs itself. I have a separate Word document describing these changes that I will upload here as soon as I find a proper place for it! And I also hope I've created this patchset correctly!! So feel free to review these changes, apply them if you deem them useful, and accept my thanks for your interest. I hope the work is helpful to you. Obviously, these changes are released "as-is," and you use them at your own risk! I wouldn't begin to suggest there aren't more gremlins out there to be worked through. Blessings all.

Description:
Currently, the csproj rewriting is done using the default encoding, rather than using the one speciified in the csproj file, which is xml and therefore the xml encoding must be used. Otherwise it can (and in my case did) mess up your project files.

This patch fixes that. It does not take on the sln file, which is not xml, and thus a harder nut to crack, but the sln files weren' a problem for me so far, as they only had 7bit ASCII in them.

* use sharpsvn function for revision property modification NOTE: the corresponding parameter in the App.config now targets the REPOSITORY path now, not REPOSITORY/db/revprops/ !!! * correctly create directories in-process (not before everything else, as before), should also help with deleted directories * remove file-by-file mode, which is not maintained any more (and deprecated anyway feature-wise) * remove option to compile for x64 from configuration, since there is no 64-bit VSS-DLL
