Possible to import to local SVN directory?

May 23, 2009 at 2:58 PM

I'm trying to transfer from (local) VSS to a local SVN repo.

SvnClient.Import throws an SvnRepositoryIOException with message "Unable to open an ra_local session to URL" with an inner exception list of "Unable to open repository 'file:///C:/svn/Nito/Async'" and "Expected FS format between '1' and '3'; found format '4'".

Progam.cs:164
dir=c:\Temp\_migrate\Nito.Async.root\Nito.Async\Async\Source
uri={file:///C:/svn/Nito/Async}

Anyone know what could be the problem?

OK, this problem is due to my setting up the SVN repo with TortoiseSVN (Subversion 1.6), whereas SharpSVN only supports Subversion 1.5.

So, I'll have to wait until SharpSVN is upgraded, or see if I can create a 1.5 repo.
